Gigi Lazzarato, known to the world as Gigi Gorgeous, is a Canadian YouTube star, transgender activist, two-time critically-acclaimed author, and one of the most recognized 2SLGBTQ+ voices of her generation. Raised outside Toronto, she began her public journey in 2008 as a high school student sharing beauty and self-expression content online, and has since built a global platform of over 2.66 million YouTube subscribers and 2 million Instagram followers, rooted in authenticity, visibility, and advocacy.

Named one of Time Magazine’s “25 Most Influential People on the Internet” and featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30, Gigi has spent over a decade using her voice to create meaningful change. Her feature-length documentary This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, chronicles her transition with unflinching honesty. She is the author of two books: her memoir He Said, She Said and The T Guide, co-written with best friend Gottmik, both dedicated to the trans community and those who love them.

A proud Torontonian and two-time Grand Marshal of the Toronto Pride Parade, Gigi has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the United Nations, and on stages around the world advocating for 2SLGBTQ+ rights and mental health.

Gigi’s connection to fertility access is deeply personal. She navigated fertility treatment firsthand, experiencing the emotional weight, financial pressure, and vulnerability that come with that journey. That lived experience is what brought her to Fertility Friends Foundation.
