Jan and I met at a social event and quickly became friends. As our bond grew, it soon became clear that we had found something truly special, and we became each other’s greatest source of joy and comfort.

We eventually got married, surrounded by friends and family who had supported us along the way. Our dog became our first “baby,” filling our home with joy and reminding us daily of the love we built together. We cherish our time with the people we love, creating memories, exploring new places, and traveling whenever we can.

We have so much love to give, and we know that love would only grow with a baby in our lives. Three years ago, we began trying to conceive naturally, filled with excitement for our future, but despite our hopes, nothing happened. A year later, I turned to a fertility specialist, concerned that my endometriosis might be impacting our chances. We tried cycle monitoring and IUI, but neither was successful. Eventually, we underwent an IVF cycle, which also didn’t work, and the heartbreak was overwhelming.

When we received the news that we had been selected for the Fertility Friends Foundation grant, we were filled with gratitude and full of hope. This support has given us the chance to pursue our dream of parenthood while easing the financial challenges, bringing us closer to the family we’ve always dreamed of.

We are deeply grateful to the Fertility Friends Foundation for creating a program that makes this dream possible for families like ours.

These grant recipients benefited from Fertility Friends Foundation’s IVF Cycle Program, which combines a $5,000 FFF fertility grant with additional in-kind IVF services generously provided by one of our partner clinics. More info on IVF Cycle Program.
