We just celebrated our 10th year anniversary last month. Throughout the years, one of our deepest desires has been to have a child of our own, to build a family that would truly complete us.

We are both permanent residents of Canada and waiting for our Canadian citizenship oath-taking. Even before moving here, back in our home country, we began trying to conceive two years after our marriage. We underwent fertility treatments early on because becoming parents has always meant so much to us.

Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have not been blessed with a child. In 2023, I went through my first IVF cycle, but it ended in heartbreak – no embryos developed. That experience was devastating but we still hold on to hope.

With the grant of Fertility Friends Foundation, this cycle would bring us closer to the dream we’ve been holding onto for a decade. To complete our family – to have a baby.
